Members of our chapter participated in a day and night of education and celebration at our second annual IFMA Carolina's Summit and Gala. This event kicked off with the Educational Summit, followed by a cocktail reception and awards dinner where we celebrated the leaders in the FM industry in the Carolinas. Awards were presented in the following four categories: FM of the Year, Associate of the Year, Young Member of the Year and Innovation of the Year. Rob Nielsen was nominated for Associate of the Year (Fusion A/V) and April Morris, while also participating on a panel discussion, was nominated for FM of the Year.
Our chapter was represented by Peter Luciano, April Morris, Rob Nielsen, Dhaval Gajjar and Amy Andrus. Thank you to KBS, represented by Amy, as a sponsor of the event and Arborflora, Ryan Anders, who sponsored a pre-event social. Dhaval presented the afternoon session on "Quality in Data for Facilities Management."
