For executive leadership, the integration of structured change management, disciplined process mapping, modern technology platforms, and intentional employee adoption strategies is not simply an operational improvement--it is a strategic imperative.Having spent much of her career in business development, Jennifer currently helps growth-minded enterprises focus on process optimization and successfully manage change through her consulting firm Barrows Development.
It was Jennifer's early career in commercial office furniture with Haworth and Herman Miller that opened her eyes to the field of change management where she helped many Fortune 100 companies such as Disney, Siemens and Lockheed, transition office spaces and optimize collaboration. She is a Prosci Certified Change Practitioner and a Process Triage Certified Facilitator.
Aside from large companies, Jennifer has a passion for start-up founders and technology ecosystems where during her 24 years in Orlando, she supported several start-up incubators including Starter Studio, Catalyst and leAD in Lake Nona. While in Florida, Jennifer served as Advisory Board Chair for GrowFL, a statewide program devoted to second-stage CEOs scaling companies to the enterprise level.
Here in the Upstate, she supports Launchpad Tech Ventures as an informal mentor sharing her expansive network and expertise with founders in the Launchpad cohorts in Greenville, Columbia and beyond. Jennifer led the Women in Technology segment of the recent Tailwind Tech Summit in Columbia highlighting women founders, investors and South Carolina government tech support organizations.
Jennifer is honored to support the Upstate community as a member of the Board of Governors at City Club Greenville and as an Advisory Board member of the Pour Out Project, a local non-profit supporting other Upstate non-profits. She and her husband have two married children, one granddaughter and one granddog.
